Warranty
Our warranty on all bikes is either 6 months or 6000km / 3800 miles manufacturer's parts only warranty, whichever comes sooner.
You are responsible for having the manufacturers services carried out within the prescribed intervals by a reputable garage. Failure to-do this may invalidate any claim.
Adding any performance parts will invalidate your warranty. The warranty does not cover wear and tear parts such as brake pads, tyres, belts, cables, batteries etc. If you have any concerns please contact SJBikes Ltd and we will clarify the position for you.
The buyer has 7 days to return the bike if they are not happy with the product. The bike shall be returned, unregistered, in the same condition it was delivered with no more than 2 miles added to the vehicle. The buyer will be fully refunded less £30 restocking fee. The buyer is responsible for all costs to return the vehicle. The refund will not include the original delivery cost.
For warranty repairs SJBikes Ltd may allow the purchaser to arrange return of the vehicle for repair at the customers cost and transport. If the purchaser returns the vehicle SJBikes Ltd will conduct the repair free of charge during the warranty period. SJBikes Ltd is not responsible for return of the vehicle or service/repair visits to the purchasers premises.
All our bikes conform to EEC standards. Please ask us for a copy of the relevant certificate.
By purchasing the vehicle the buyer agrees to abide by these terms and conditions.
Insurance
All the larger insurance companies are familiar with our motorcycles and will give you a very reasonable quote. If you decide to register your own bike, most insurance companies will insure an unregistered bike using the chassis number which we will supply on purchase. Please note these are UK supplied, EEC approved, learner legal bikes, not "parallel" or "grey" imports.
